I am very happy to post here the result of my efforts to produce something creative and colourful with my own hands. I have always wanted to be able to create something myself, but it always appeared to be so very hard and unlikely for it to happen. Not because I didn't want to, but because the circumstances around me were not favourable, I guess. So, lately I have worked hard and progressed more and more in my crochet work. I have to mention and express a big thank to my big friend and mother-in-Law, Jorunn Skrede, who made it all possible. Below you will see my first 4 hats, a cat and a granny square blanket, still under "production" :)

Spring is in the air!
My Blog postings have been hybernating, the same way as my garden has! I thought it was time to bring them to life again, starting with the beautiful picture below, a love tree, which I found in Jebblybeans.

Autumn Planting
We have now prepared Skogsveien 30 to be left "rather alone during the winter". We have put way the garden furniture, taken the Buddah inside etc. However, we have also started preparing the garden for the spring, which we, of course, are already looing forward to! Below you can see same examples of the flowers I have planted and which should all come out early spring, around April and May. Can't wait to see them! I have planted lots!

Amineko Project - For my son Igor!
Let me have the pleasure to introduce to you my first Amineko, the crocheted Japanese cat! More cats hopefully to come. This is just the first project. He is cute, isn't he? He was made in honour of my son Igor, who loves Japanese cartoons, anime and all realted stuff! I have to thank Jorunn Skrede, without whom I would not have managed to complete this project :))

A different sight
I saw this picture today in a Norwegian newspaper. I found it so amazing to see the sunflower covered in snow! What a contrast!
